Túrima channels the estate’s natural process into concentrated fig notes with a savory, soil-like weight beneath. Complex yet grounded, it’s a cup that rewards slow sipping and reveals more with each brew.
This lot comes from Gera Estate in Ethiopia, grown at 1,900–2,200 MASL and naturally processed for a lush, fruit-driven character. The estate is known for its biodiversity and shade-grown practices, preserving native forest alongside coffee. With a history tracing back to the early 20th century, Gera has long been recognized for producing high-grade heirloom coffees that highlight both Ethiopia’s terroir and its heritage of careful cultivation.
We recommend brewing Túrima with a manual pour-over — hot or iced — to best showcase its nuanced structure. Take care to avoid excessive agitation of the coffee bed, which can push the savory edge too far and lead to over-extraction.
